I wrote "Daylight" right before my arrest, doing bad things for good reasons just to feed my family. It’s a raw snapshot of the endless hustle and the weight of a life-or-death pressure most people don't see. I beat a 20-year sentence and got a second chance. People envy the bag, but they don't know the weight of the sinner's prayer you say just to make it home. Set to a heavy groove, this is an anthem for anyone running out of time, living on the edge, and trying to survive the maze.
